Country Choice

It has been brought to our attention that there are many so called "employers" who are really organized scam artists. These people are not always 'scammers' so to speak but they may be engaging in bad business practices. You can find many ads in even the local papers that are placed by these people who may try to pray on peoples hopes and dreams. Don't fall for it, the get rich now employers who boast about how rich you can be only boast because THEY are the ones who are getting rich. That's why they're excited. If it seems to good to be true, don't BUY their story. We have reports from the Better Business Bureau (click here or on BBB) that a company called Country Choice located at 2922 Chicago Dr SWWyoming, MI 49418(616) 241-6043 has an Unsatisfactory status with the BBB. Country Choice Aged Midwestern Beef is misleading from the very start. If you check out their ads in the Grand Rapids Press or any other paper, the ad says "Warehouse/Delivery, $895/week" They don't tell you exactly what your doing over the phone, and they don't tell you that its ALL commissions, they initially tell you, you'll get paid your weekly pay, your commissions + bonuses! Sounds great except its door to door sales. Which provides NO guarantee of income. They are selling different types of beef cuts, chicken, and seafood. They initally have the appearance of a legitmate business, except for their very unprofessional language during even the 'hiring' interviews, their lack of employee benefits, no tax papers to fill out as any normal 'employee' should normally be filling out, their unorganized office which is also very bland and small. When you look closely Country Choice seems to be a shady company. Here's more details on their BBB reports :

The list goes on folks. We give Country Choice : Aged midwestern beef.... two thumbs down. Don't buy any products from such a company, and certainly DO NOT WORK for any such company. Lastly, don't try to copy what they are doing or you may simply end up on a report like this one. We certainly hope this helps you.

Sorry man but i have had the steaks from country choice and they have been the best i have had. I am a steak eater practically every night so i know my steak. People have to work in this world, weather it be in a factory or a car lot the owners get the cash right same concept.

This quick comment seems to be written by someone working for the Co. Yes, people have to work, yes the big man gets most of the money, but the original comment revolved around the inability of the Co. to take care of its customers/complaints/problems. Glad you liked your 'steaks from a truck' "Man."

This company has advertised at least twice in the last few months for help. So if it's such a great company why can't they hold on to their help? The ads themselves make me suspicious. C'mon over $600 per week and they supply the vehicle? Get real. Thanks for the heads up. I won't waste my time.

Do not fall for the information. Well, DO fall for it if you are a good hustle/con artist. You will make a killin then. Legitimate people.. will never make it with the company, because it is based on the hustle.

I am VERY familiar with companies just like "Country Choice". They send people out in crappy vehicles, to sell bad and overpriced meats door to door. If you don't sell anything, you don't make anything. You supply your own fuel, and usually have to pay a "truck fee". Most of the companies have NO selling permits, and have low BBB ratings. Avoid these losers at all costs!

Country choice continues to advertise for warehouse help however they don't appear to have a warehouse. The interview starts like this: The warehouse job is gone but how much do you see yourself making in a week? $1000?? It's a scam. However, if you want to drive your car around and try to sell meat to cold customers, you might get a job with this company. Be advised they have an F rating with the BBB however.
